Spiritwalker Opens Raids To Friends!
Written by Froakah

Spiritwalker allows open attendance on our Saturday raids. Attendee's on those raids are titled as a 'server Friend' and will gain points as outlined on our 'Loot Rules' page. In order to see and spend the points you have earned you must register on this site. Our scheduled raids will typically last from 8:00 or 8:30pm CET until 1am CET (11am PST until 4pm PST). Our friends may only attend the raids that are posted on the calendar on this site, the calendar on the main spiritwalker site are guild only raids.

Scheduled raids will begin promptly at the scheduled time, so you will need to make sure you show up 15-30 minutes early to get a group and get buffed. If you are not sure what buffs you should have ask someone of the same class as yourself or watch during MGB's. If you need a buff do a /who class (/who cleric for example) or look in the raid window (alt r) and send a tell for the buff you need. Tells do sometimes get missed so don't be shy to send another tell in a couple of minutes if you think your buff tell was missed but don't spam and don't ask for buffs, mod rods, et cetera during fights or when we are preparing the final seconds to charge.

Raid Targets and Progression Goals:

We are currently living in Crystallos with the intentions to gear up while we recruit so that once our class gaps are filled and our members are adiquately equiped we can head directly for Demi and Solteris. We do also raid a variety of targets from both new and older expansions, we work hard to avoid any target that is not going to provide progression for the majority of today's players. We are always striving to help our members obtain their epic 2.0 (that does mean we have to do some Anguish raids)and progress their character no matter what level of play they are used to. We strive to keep everyone with a list of goals and looking forward to advancing their character, their play style, and our team.

 comes.

Saturday isn't the only day Spiritwalker raids on but it is the only day open for our friends to attend. (Sorry!)

Personal Goals:

  • Obtain Level 80
  • Complete Epic 2.0 (Post on the forum on this site for raid requests)
  • Obtain Ally Faction with Katta and Solteris Access
  • Gain Access to MMM and Crystallos

Equipment Requirements:

All members, applicants, and server friends are required to always have access to the following utilities. These can be in the form of AA's, worn items, potions, or clickable items. If you use charged items such as a Gnomish Vanishing Device you will also be expected to carry a Gnomish Recharging Kit and Mana Batteries in order to recharge them.

  • Enduring Breath
  • Shrink
  • Gate
  • An indoor right click instant cast buff item (Recommended: Ancient Werewolf Skull)
  • Invisibility
  • Invisibility vs Undead
  • Levitate
  • See Invisible
  • Heal Potions
The following items are not required however they are a plus:
  • Extra right click instant cast buff items
  • Ancient Werewolf Skull or its evolved counterparts
  • Form of Endurance # click. A Form of Defense # click is also acceptable for tanks.
  • Healing potions

Play Style Requirements:

  • We Follow A General Play Nice Policy and expect that on our raids you do as well.

  • On a raid you are expected to pay attention, announce when you afk and when you return to your group (the leader will be a Spiritwalker who will relay the message), leave the raid with extended (20 minutes plus) afk's, follow directions, stick with the raid at all times, handle themselves in a respectable manner, and keep chatter to the spiritwalker:sw channel so raid channel is clear for instructions at all times.

  • If you have a strategic suggestion send a tell to the raid leader and present it constructively but do not get frumpy if your suggestion is not used.

  • Anyone who is responsible for training, ninja looting, or is unwilling to follow directions will be removed from the raid. Repeated acts can and will result in you being black-listed.

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • /Anonymous must be removed during raids!!

  • MAPS! Before you apply to raid with us you must have the most recent maps from Mapfiend.net. It takes less then 5 minutes! Simply download the latest Map Pack and unzip into the Maps folder in your Everquest directory. Make sure that it unzipped it directly to your Maps folder and not into another folder inside Maps. If you are in game when you download them you must camp to server select and log back in for them to take effect.
